After graduating from Hokkaido Computer School, Terachi gained experience in on-site IT work for pharmaceutical companies through an SES provider. In 1999, he became a freelance systems engineer to support IT operations in the pharmaceutical industry. He later co-founded Level Five Co., Ltd. with a group of professionals who share a strong sense of mission and social responsibility. In 2004, Level Five Inc. (former company name) was officially established.

In 1996, Ohta worked at Marubeni Construction Material Lease Co., Ltd., overseeing the construction management of high-standard roads under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism. Later, he transitioned to the IT industry, joining Level Five Co., Ltd. in 2000. He played a key role in launching the company’s infrastructure business and establishing its core business domains.
